A lot has been happening since my last post. The biggest and best news...I'm moving this Summer! Where to, you wonder? I'm moving to Arizona. ^_^ I am so excited! Now there's just so much to be done...oh, where to begin? I receive housing assistance where I'm living right now, so it's really going to be a piece of work getting that transferred. They ask for specifics, like dates and everything, and I don't know any dates just yet, just estimates. I'm shooting for late June, possibly early July. You see, my friend who originally had moved out to Arizona came back here to Pennsylvania to help her father with an really big and important job. It's such a big job, that it should take a few months to complete. However, she has estimated that they should be finished with the job sometime in June. Sooooo, we've agreed to drive out to Arizona together after the job is completed, and I get my belongings sold and get everything worked out with my local housing authority.
It's kind of sad to admit that I haven't even touched The Sims 3 for a few weeks now. =_= I've just been so busy with other stuff.
Ooh, guess what? I terminated my television service with my cable provider. That knocks off $55 a month. I know you're probably thinking that I'm crazy for getting rid of my television service. However, I daresay that was a very smart move to make. The whole reason television was created in the first place was to keep us distracted and keep us from looking up at what's really going on around us. Our evil government would be perfectly happy with us being dumbed down and completely distracted by the media. That's probably the biggest reason why I ended my TV service. I still have my cable internet to keep me entertained, and I have other hobbies and interests that can keep me away from the computer. Like cooking. I love to cook. And going on walks when it's warm out. It still gets pretty chilly at times. And reading. I have a shitload of books to read, including a bunch of books on Wicca/Witchcraft/Paganism, vegetarian/vegan cooking books, and a couple of fiction titles. So yeah, there are plenty of hobbies and interests away from the computer. Lol, when I say this, I hear an old man's voice in my head, saying, "Well back in my day, none of that damn 'technology' even existed!"
Kids today and their damn technology. XD
Nevertheless, I've been on AnimeCrave.com the past couple of days, watching Outlaw Star. Gene Starwind is such an epic character! ^_^ Seriously though, I think he's pretty awesome. ♥
